GV Engineering Works (M) Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian mechanical-engineering partner trusted by cement, chemical and mining operators nationwide. From our early days as an enterprise in 1996 to our incorporation in 2016, we have built a reputation for reliable structural fabrication, equipment manufacturing, plant maintenance and machine refurbishment—always delivered safely and on schedule.
Today our purpose-built fabrication yard in Rawang anchors these capabilities. Equipped with CNC plasma cutting up to 50 mm, three-roll plate rolling to 2 400 mm width, and a heavy-duty lathe that turns parts up to Ø1.5 m × 6 m—one of the few of its size in the region—we produced more than 500 tonnes of fabricated steel last year. A team of 40-plus engineers, welders, technicians, turners, supervisors and team leaders powers this output, and our planned expansion to 60-plus staff by mid-2026 will further accelerate turnaround times.
OUR FOUNDER
Our roots lie in the cement sector, where founder K. Ganesan brings over 40 years of technical insight. The company was established to serve every major cement plant in Malaysia and quickly rose to become a preferred mechanical contractor. Leveraging that expertise, we now support the chemical and mining industries with the same combination of practical know-how and rapid response.

CIDB G5 registration demonstrates compliance with Malaysia’s construction standards, while ISO 9001 certification underpins rigorous control from raw-material intake to final inspection. Detailed drafting in AutoCAD, strict weld-testing protocols and continuous skills development ensure that each component leaving our yard meets—or exceeds—client specifications.
